A Strategic Perspective on Air Transportation

Prepared under the coordination of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Directorate of Strategy and Budget, the Air Transportation Specialization Commission Report offers strategic recommendations that will guide the development of Türkiye’s aviation sector.

The report was created with broad participation from public institutions, private sector representatives, non-governmental organizations, and universities. The rapporteur of the commission was Ass.Prof. Selçuk Kayhan from Malatya Turgut Özal University.

The report thoroughly examines key topics such as the current state of air transportation, infrastructure capacity, environmental sustainability, human resources, regulatory framework, and compliance with international standards. It also includes proposed solutions to sectoral challenges and outlines long-term goals.

Serving as a valuable reference for policymakers and academic communities, the report aims to contribute to strengthening Türkiye’s position in the global aviation landscape.
