English Course Exemption Exam for Students Registered with Additional Quota
For students enrolled at our university through an additional quota who wish to be exempt from English 1 (ING101) and English 2 (ING102) courses offered by UZEM in the 2025-2026 Academic Year, an English Exemption Exam will be held on Thursday, October 30th between 11:00 and 11:50. Taking the exemption exam is optional and not mandatory. Only students enrolled at our university through an additional quota may apply (excluding the Department of Translation and Interpreting). Applications other than this will not be accepted.
Students wishing to apply for the Exemption Exam must submit a petition to their registered unit (Faculty/College/Vocational School) by 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Petitions will not be accepted after October 23, 2025. The list of students taking the exam and exam location information will be announced by the units (Faculty/College/Vocational School) where our students are registered. Students who score 60 or higher out of 100 will be exempt from English.
